A Look Inside the Studio
Each fine art print is based on a life-size, expressive charcoal drawing. By reducing it to deep black and a light background, Quiquak (Quirin) captures the essence of animals – their power, their tranquility, their character.
Each drawing is unique, inspired by real moments and executed with great attention to detail. Quiquak is continuously expanding his portfolio of animal portraits.

The Medium
Only charcoal creates infinite variations of light and dark. This duality of organic condensate is capable of conveying stories and transporting emotions.

About Quiquak
Quirin Fuchs (born 1995) lives and works in Munich.
In his artistic work, Quiquak explores the nature of the world, which he pursues like an obsessed person from the banal to the metaphysical.
Probably due to his engineering background, he has developed a special sensitivity for the essence of things themselves, which, starting from fundamental truths and manifesting through supercycles, anomalies, and resonances, expresses itself in patterns of ocean waves, global markets, field hare populations, and trends.
In the 99 Animals project, he creates a raw, immediate, and impressive depiction of the essence of animals. Seemingly banal, yet so immediate and easily experienced—that's how it should be. Because it is precisely in the banal that the essence is rediscovered.
