99 Animals

Thomas"It almost feels like a chicken lives on our kitchen wall. Impressive, absolutely great. Minimalist yet rich in detail."
Mr. S."Great wall object for my meeting room, excellent as an ice breaker."
Melanie“The giraffe is so cute, my daughter loves it. With children, a frame is very important for protection, but you can get that at Kaufland, for example.”

About Quiquak
Quirin Fuchs (born 1995) works and lives in Munich.
In his artistic work, Quiquak explores the nature of the world, pursuing it like an obsessive from the mundane to the metaphysical.
Probably due to his engineering background, he has developed a particular sensitivity for the essence of things themselves, which, starting from fundamental truths and manifesting through supercycles, anomalies, and resonances, expresses itself in patterns of ocean waves, global markets, hare populations, and trends.
In the 99 Animals project, he creates a raw, immediate, and impressive depiction of the essence of animals. Seemingly banal, yet so immediate and easily experienced—that's how it should be. Because it is precisely in the banal that the essence can be found.

The Medium
Only charcoal creates infinite variations of light and dark. This duality of organic condensate allows me to uniquely capture human and animal stories and convey emotions.
