Quirin Fuchs (born 1995) works and lives in Munich.

In his artistic work, Quiquak explores the essence of the world, which he obsessively pursues from the mundane to the metaphysical.

Likely due to his engineering background, he has developed a particular sensitivity for the nature of things in themselves. Starting from fundamental truths, this nature manifests itself through supercycles, anomalies, and resonances in patterns of ocean waves, global markets, wild hare populations, and trends.

In the 99 Animals project, he creates a raw, immediate, and striking depiction of the essence of animals. Seemingly mundane, yet so immediate and easily experienced – that's how it should be. For it is precisely in the mundane that the essence is found.
